I hope this note finds everyone enjoying their summer break after a truly unprecedented 2020-21 school year. I am excited to get the Athletics program in our district started again in full force and look forward to meeting you at games and races. I am also greatly appreciative of the Lyndon Area Youth Soccer Association, serving the northern sector of the district, and it’s board for partnering with the district in continuing the growth of the soccer opportunities for the students in the region. LAYS has done an amazing job, and it is our hope that this collaboration provides for age appropriate and gender segregated opportunities for the students in our soccer program at all seven schools.

We will also offer cross country running for students in grades 5-8. We hope to have three different training sites (likely Burke, Concord, and Lyndon) and target competitions in our region as well as attending the Woods Trail Run in Thetford on Saturday, October 2. 

Please click on the link to complete the KESD Sports Sign Up form by Friday, August 13, 2021. This important information will provide us the data needed to organize and provide the best programming possible across the district. In an attempt to maximize our communication with everyone in the district, you may receive this notification in multiple ways. You only need to complete the survey once per student.

I do look forward to meeting you and offer two opportunities to sign up in person and answer any questions you may have.

• Tuesday, Aug. 3 - Lyndon Town School at the concession stand at the fields
