- Assist in preparation of bi-weekly bill warrants
- Review expense codes and process materials in preparation of data processing
- Process payment to appropriate vendors
- Ensure entities do not pay sales tax due to tax exempt status
- Track open purchase orders and follow up on outstanding orders
- Generate 1099 reports for vendors

Kingdom East School District (KESD) seeks a Facilities Manager for the purpose of planning, organizing and managing the maintenance, repair and alteration of district buildings and grounds; serving as the district representative in planning and developing facilities maintenance and repair plans, and new construction; ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines; preparing and managing the annual budget for the maintenance, grounds, and custodial departments; collaborating with principals on school emergency procedures and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.
Candidates shall have proven experience collaborating with others, written and oral communication skills, coordinating schedules and special events, long and short range maintenance plans/programs, directing projects, inspecting new construction, work, projects, and equipment. Experience must include monitoring fund balances and overseeing a budget, supervising personnel, optimizing staffing & efficiencies.
Health and safety responsibilities include school and district security and safety audits and training, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) updates requirements are met and documented. (i.e. Asbestos, VOSHA, OSHA, water testing, etc.) and the use of environmentally preferable products in compliance with all Vermont statutes.
The position is a full year, full benefit, salaried position $80-100K which includes some evening meetings and a standard vacation and health package.
