2023 Powers Park Summer Program Registration

[MESSAGE FROM POWERS PARK] After a long await, we have an official update regarding the 2023 Powers Park Summer Program.  Online registration is now available! We are excited to offer a variety of different program this options along with activities with our Community Partners. There is a lot of information coming with this email, so please read through, ask if you have questions and share with your friends. We look forward to seeing you!


The Summer Program will run June 19 - August 11. Attached is a Summer Calendar for your reference as we also partner with Kingdom East and their summer program with changes the pool open swim hours for a portion of the program.


Here are the Program Options for the summer:
  • Swim Lessons & open swim $140
  • Tennis Instruction only $50
  • Tennis and Swim $175
  • Open Swim Season pass $70
  • Drop in fee for open swim $5/per visit


We are an authorized Red Cross Swim Lesson Provider. Our swim lessons are 30 minute sessions, five days a week for beginner levels in the Kiddie pool (who must be potty trained) all the way through Junior Lifeguard.  Attached is a description of each level and pre-requisites as well as a general list of pool rules and expectations.


We are excited to have the bookmobile back this summer (schedule to be determined), as well as Free Lunch daily from 10:30 - noon, New to us this summer, we are very excited to partner with Adaptive Sports Partners! More information to come, but their flier is also attached.


On Saturday, June 17 we will once again host our annual Community event Power to the Park. There will be lots of fun for the whole family with food, Open Swim, Pickleball tournaments, raffles, vendors, bounce house and so much more. We hope you join us!


We are excited to bring these programs and events to you. We realize that in a world of many different activity options, you could choose something different. We believe swimming lessons are one of the best life-saving skills you can give your children and we hope that you take part.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
