Catamount Night at Sutton School: Learn More About Title I and Celebrate Student Learning

October 6, 2026

Sutton School families are invited to join us for Catamount Night on Thursday, October 15, 2026, an evening focused on learning, family engagement, and celebrating student growth.

The evening will begin with a Title I Presentation from 5:00–5:45 p.m. Families will have an opportunity to learn more about Sutton School’s Title I program, how it supports student learning, and how families and educators can work together to support student success. Free pizza and salad will be provided during the presentation.

What is Title I?

Title I, Part A is a federal education program designed to help provide students with meaningful opportunities to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education. Title I funds can support academic programs and services that help students succeed, including opportunities for additional instructional support and family engagement.

Family involvement is an important part of Title I. Families are encouraged to be active partners in their child's education, and schools are expected to provide meaningful opportunities for families to learn about programs, student progress, and ways they can support learning at home.

The Title I Presentation at Catamount Night is a great opportunity for Sutton families to learn more about the program and ask questions.

Student-Led Conferences

Following the Title I Presentation, families are invited to attend Student-Led Conferences from 5:45–6:45 p.m.

During these conferences, students will take the lead in sharing their learning, goals, and growth with their families. It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and hear directly from students about their school experience.
