January 20 KESD Clark 8th Grade Boys Basketball v. Rivendell

Last night, the Kingdom East 8th grade boys took on the Rivendell Academy.

The Kingdom East players found themselves trailing the entire game. The boys did not quit and continued to play hard throughout the game.

Camryn Bacon had a few key steals in the first half to keep the game close.

After finding themselves down by five with 1 minute and 18 seconds left, the Kingdom East players continued to play hard.

With some clutch free throws by Logan Wheeler with less than 30 seconds left, the team was down by one.

Davis Palmieri came up with a big steal in the final seconds and was able to drive and hit a go ahead layup with 10 seconds left in what was an all around team effort to get the win.
