It is with disbelief that I write this message because I can't believe the year has ended so quickly! Have a great summer--I look forward to seeing you in August!
As this incredible sports year winds down, I am overfilled with gratitude for every single player, family member, and coach I've had the honor of interacting with. Athletics has always been my guiding light, shaping me into the person I am today.
Kingdom East School District is thrilled to celebrate Julie Clements, Visual Arts Teacher at Lyndon Town School, for being honored in the Spotlight on Vermont Arts Teachers section of the Vermont Agency of Education’s Spring 2025 Arts Newsletter.
Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.
