February 15 KESD CLW 7/8 Girls v. STJ

The CLW 7/8 grade girls played STJ Tuesday night.

A very even, and competitive game saw no lead greater than five points throughout.

The KESD girls led 9-5 after the 1st quarter with Hayden D'Agostino leading the way.

The 2nd quarter saw STJ get rolling offensively with six points from Emily Clark, STJ led the way at halftime 16-14.


The 2nd half saw constant lead changes with defense being the key.

Jayden Bunnell hit a crucial free throw to put KESD up by three.

Emily Clark responded with a 3 pointer to tie the game.

Jayden Bunnell fired back, drilling a 3 pointer of her own to put the KESD up by three with 1:18 left on the clock.

Brianna Bunnell sealed the game on a steal and a layup with 18 seconds left.

Madisyn Amadon led the team in rebounds.


It was a great game by both teams! The KESD ladies came away with a 33-30 victory!
