KESD- Concord/Lunenburg at Lyndon 7/8 Coed 10/5

The 5-8 soccer team traveled to LTS for a Kingdom East Soccer showdown yesterday.

After a very competitive first half that saw our Kingdom East Concord/Lunenburg team take 11 shots on goal, the score at half time was 1-0 in favor of the Kingdom East Lyndon team.

Madison Amadon broke through for her first goal of the season to get our Kingdom East team on the board, the assist came from Conner Putvain. Putvain and Amadon both had stellar games on the front line, keeping the pressure on the Lyndon defense.

Darby Peters had 9 saves at keeper. Again, our defensive line held strong keeping minimum shots on goal for the keeper and held a very talented LTS team to a score of 3-1. Great work to both teams!
