KESD-Lyndon 5/6 Girls vs Danville 9/20

The Lyndon 5/6 girls won their match with Danville on Monday with a final score of 2-0. Both goals were scored by Anneliese Webber. The second goal was taken from outside the box and sank into the top corner of the net. Multiple shots on goal were also had by Addison Scott and Cora Adams. Danville almost battled back from the shut out game but a few outstanding saves made by goalie Mariah Birch coupled with the aggressive teamwork amongst the defenders prevented that from happening.

The girls and boys teams will start to prepare for a new challenge with another home Jamboree that will be happening this Saturday.
