KESD 2022 Fall Practice Schedules Now Available

October 11, 2022

October 8, 2022 Jamboree Summary --

Game #1: KESD North (Lyndon) - 4 & KESD South (concord) - 0

The KESD Lyndon squad came up to play hard in their first match and had a strong performance, as they walked away with the ‘W’.

Levi Webber scored a pair of strong goals, Grayson Bias with a long shot goal that met the opposite upper corner of the net, and Matt Taylor was able to score his first goal of the season off an assist from Cannon Warstler.

“I am super pumped that Matt was able to net one in. That makes eight players from our squad who have scored at least one goal this season. I am hoping to get a few more added to the list” said Coach Bias.

The defense was doing a great job at containing the ball on the outside and pushing it back up into scoring opportunities. The goal was locked down by the combination of Grayson and Trent Ainsworth.

“It’s great to see when our guys are able to take everything we have been working on from practices and apply them in the games. They did a great job controlling the ball and winning it back whenever we lost possession” said Coach Bias.

Game #2: KESD North (Lyndon) - 0 & Twinfield/Cabot - 4

The KESD Lyndon took the field again with no rest, after previous a solid win. However, fatigue set in quickly, as Lyndon was downed 0-4.

“It’s almost like we switched roles, as we struggled to move the ball on our opponents side and weren’t able to shut them out of our red zone. They were definitely gassed after their previous match and were unable to match a fresh team with good rest” said Coach Bias.

Lyndon did have a few opportunities on their opponent’s side, but couldn’t seem to get squared shots or were blocked by the opposing team’s defensive line.

The goal duty was split amongst the trio of Luac Bianco, Grayson Bias, and Trent Ainsworth.

“It just wasn’t our match to win. We just need to move on from this and learn from our mistakes. At the end of the day, I am happy to walk away with at least one win and a strong team performance” says Coach Bias.
