Lyndon Town School Walk to School Day

May 2, 2024

Mark your calendar for May 24, 2024 as the Lyndon Town School Walk to School Day.  Our Walk to School Day is an event to celebrate physical activity, good health and positive connections between our school, families and the community. There are over 5000 Walk to School events in the U.S.

How it Works:

Students are brought to school as usual, by bus or parent drop-off. They will get breakfast as usual, then go to their homeroom. All students, staff and parents will then be bussed up to the Outing Club. We will then be escorted by the Lyndonville Police as we all walk from the Outing Club to Lyndon Town School. Eighth Graders will lead the pack and the Kindergarten will be the caboose.

Students:

Please wear comfortable shoes for walking and a shirt representing your class color. Eat your breakfast and return to your classroom for attendance. We will load the bus at 8:10 and be dropped off at the Outing Club for our walk back to school.

Class Color:

Please wear a t-shirt color that represents your grade:

  • K-Blue
  • 1st-Red

  • 3rd-White
