2025 SheJumps & KEAP Junior Ski Patrol Event at Jay Peak

March 24, 2025

Kingdom East Afterschool Programs (KEAP) partnered with SheJumps to offer a Junior Ski Patrol yesterday at Jay Peak.

Throughout the day, participants were taught a range of outdoor skills that are utilized by ski patrollers to keep the mountain safe. Topics included first aid, avalanche control, snow science, weather stations, toboggans, avalanche rescue techniques, radio communication, avalanche dogs, and much more.

Thank you SheJumps and Jay Peak Resort for helping to provide our female students lessons in mountain safety and first aid.

Here are some photos from yesterdays event. It was a great day!
