March 26, 2019

As we await warm, sunny weather, here are a few things to add to your calendar and also a heads-up on some of the activities that we have planned for the students.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 10th @6:00 pm for our Middle School Musical/Play. You will be entertained as the students perform The Case of the Missing Paragraph in the Gilman gym.

Friday, April 12th: Lunenburg’s Annual “Trashion Show & Innoventions” where the students will be making creations (creative creations, I might add) from recycled material. This event is in recognition of Earth Day which is April 22nd. A flyer will be coming home asking for your clean trash! Thanks!

Friday, April 12th: The middle school students will be going to Evergreen Sports Center to participate in a few hours of physical activity. They will choose one of the following activities: rock climbing, swimming or gymnastics. This opportunity is grant funded and its purpose is to provide different forms of physical activity for our students.

Week of April 15-22 NO SCHOOL:  Please notice that the students do not return to school until Tuesday the 23rd. The teachers have Professional Development on Monday the 22nd.

Thursday, April 25th: In lieu of the Principal’s Advisory Committee Meeting we will be hosting a free Pasta Dinner & Math Night to all K-8 students and parents. We need a headcount; the sign up sheets went home last week. If you didn’t receive one, let us know. This event will take place at the Gilman School from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Friday, April 26th: The middle school students will be going to the Hood Museum of Art at the Dartmouth Campus in Hanover, NH. More information to come…

Friday, May 3rd: The elementary students will attend Evergreen Sports Center for their few hours of swimming, gymnastics, or climbing;-)

Wednesday, May 29th: K-8 Spring Concert @6:00 pm at the Gilman Gym

Graduation for our 8th graders will be on Thursday, June 13th @6:00 pm in the Gilman gym.

There will be other events and activities popping up as we go along. We will keep you informed.

Please check out our Kingdom East School District web page KEWP which is in the process of being developed. Dates of events are being added to our page.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we all have the same end goal. Please call or email with any questions or concerns.
