March 19, 2025

Kingdom East is proud to announce that two students within our school district were announced winners yesterday in the national Art of Conservation Fish Art Contest. This contest was open to grades K-12 (5-18 years). Students were asked to select a fish species to research, create an illustration of the species, and write a one-page creative writing essay.

Congratulations to Briar Carpenter from Sutton School, who won 2nd place in the Vermont Grades K-3 category.

We would also like to give a big congratulations to Emilia Brothers from Miller's Run School who placed 1st in the Vermont Grades 7-9 category.
