KESD North (Lyndon) 5/6 Boys at Haverhill Tournament

KESD 2022 Fall Practice Schedules Now Available

October 17, 2022

October 15, 2022 Tournament Summary --

KESD Lyndon was also very fortunate to welcome KESD Burke player Maddox McGinnis on the squad for the day. “He was a nice compliment to our team,” says Coach Bias.

“The games were at a faster pace than what we have been used to seeing this year. Only 10 minutes in each half and substitution restrictions made a big challenge for us. A few of the teams were also very aggressive, as they pushed their defense up onto our side and put a lot of pressure in our own zone” said Coach Bias

Final scores…

Game 1: Pemi Baker 2 and KESD 1.

Game 2: Plainfield 4 and KESD 0.

Game 3: Groveton 2 and KESD 0.

Despite the final outcome of the games, the Lyndon squad did their best. The goal duty was split between Grayson, Trent Ainsworth, and Luca Bian. “They all were making some nice saves, but it was too much pressure for them to block them all. Luca made an amazing save from behind that had the other team’s coach applaud his efforts” said Coach Bias.

Lyndon are hopefully able to pick their heads up and get ready to enter into their final week of play. They have their last regular season match against St. Johnsbury at the LTS fields on Monday, October 17th. Game will kick off at 4:30.
