Local student creativity is shining bright this season at The Charles M. and Hanna H. Gray Gallery, located inside Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. The gallery’s current exhibit features artwork from students across the Kingdom East School District, including Burke Town School, Concord School, Lunenburg School, Lyndon Town School, and Sutton School.
This special showcase brings together a wide range of artistic expression, with students contributing pieces in a variety of mediums, from painting and drawing to mixed media and collaborative projects. The exhibit highlights not only the creativity of these young artists, but also the strong arts programs within our KESD schools.
Student art shows like this are a longstanding tradition at NVRH, offering the community an opportunity to celebrate local talent while enhancing the hospital environment. According to the gallery, these exhibits bring joy to patients, visitors, and staff, while showcasing the incredible talent of these students through colorful and imaginative works.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated Kingdom East art educators who inspire and guide students every day. Their passion, creativity, and commitment make opportunities like this possible, helping students develop their artistic voices and create the beautiful pieces now on display.
The display serves as a reminder of the important role art plays in education, encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students of all ages. It also reflects the connection between schools and the broader community, as families and visitors alike can experience the work firsthand.
The exhibit is available for viewing through May 4, 2026, giving community members plenty of time to stop in and experience this inspiring collection of student artwork. If you are in the area, be sure to visit and enjoy this celebration of creativity, a clear reflection of the talent and dedication thriving in KESD classrooms!
