Upcoming KESD Informational FY26 Budget Meetings: Updated 2/6/25

Dear Kingdom East School District Families, Staff and Community,

Kingdom East School District will be holding two   informational budget meetings to review the proposed FY26 budget. Both meetings will cover the same material, and the locations have been chosen to provide easier access for community members to attend.

During these meetings, there will be an opportunity for public comments and questions. For added convenience, both meetings can also be accessed remotely via ZOOM.

Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
