Lyndon Town School Teacher Michelle Bechanan Receives the Jane Goodman Outstanding Mentor Award

May 29, 2024

We are very excited to announce that Michelle Bechanan has been named the Jane Goodman Outstanding Mentor Award recipient for the Fall 2023 Teacher Apprenticeship Program (TAP) at Champlain College.

Each semester, TAP chooses one to two mentors who have gone above and beyond in supporting interns. This semester, Michelle was selected, as she provided Lynsee Garfield with exceptional guidance and support. Lynsee presented the well-deserved award to Michelle on May 3rd at the Teacher Apprenticeship Program cohort celebration.

Michelle, the impact you have made goes far beyond the LTS walls. We appreciate your unwavering commitment to our students, enthusiasm for humanities, and dedication to the school and the Kingdom East community. Congratulations, Michelle!
