At our school, we believe that learning goes beyond academics—it’s also about helping children grow into kind, respectful, and responsible members of their community.

We are so excited to welcome you to a brand-new school year at Sutton! This is the first edition of our monthly school newsletter, which you can expect once a month with updates, events, and highlights from across our community.

This spring, students in grades 5-8 will take part in a series of experiential learning afternoons on May 2, 16, 30, and June 6. These special Fridays are designed to give students the opportunity to explore personal interests, develop new skills, and connect with the natural and creative resources of our community.

As we enter the final trimester of the school year, things are about to get busy! Spring is always an exciting time filled with learning, activities, and celebrations, but it can also feel a bit overwhelming for students and families alike.

As we move into February, I want to take a moment to share some of the positive feedback we received from students, caregivers, and staff about how the school year is going so far.

As the school year progresses, we want to reiterate our expectations regarding technology use by our students.
